A Omani lawyer, accredited before all Sultanate courts, has a wide-ranging experience in civil law, commercial law, drafting of contracts and all issues related to arbitration. In addition, he is a well-known lecturer and a certified trainer.

  • Dr. Dawood Al Kharusi got his BA in Law from University of Sharjah, UAE, MA in Civil Law from Sultan Qaboos University, Sultanate of Oman and PhD in Civil Law, Civil and commercial proceedings, Faculty of Law, Assiut University, Egypt 2016.
  • Dr. Dawood has also worked in the Administrative and Financial department at the Ministry of Justice during the period from 1991 to 1997.
  • From 1997 to 2017, Dr. Dawood continued working in the field of Law, appearing in different courts.
  • Since 2018, Dr. Dawood has been practicing the profession of law and providing legal consultations through his two established branches in Al Khuwayr and Nizwa.
  • Dr. Dawood has also conducted many useful workshops and delivered several lectures in different locations. In addition, he participated in a number of conferences inside and outside the Sultanate such as in Egypt. These conferences discussed highly important topics including the international commercial arbitration, the drafting of commercial contracts, rules and regulations of foreign investment, the commercial agencies as well as the contracts of oil and gas. Moreover, Dr. Dawood has a vast experience in attending and pleading before courts and executing the rendered judgements and their related consequences. Furthermore, Dr. Dawood is a highly qualified trainer in the profession of law.

  • Dr. Dawood issued a number of refereed researches and authored many publications on Omani Law such as:
  1. Al Shamil in the Omani Legislations and Implementing Regulations (15 volumes).
  2. The Terms of Reference of the Enforcement Judge in accordance with the Omani Law/MA.
  3. Control over the Deviations of the Judicial Authority in accordance with the Omani Law/PhD.
  4. Introduction to The study of the Omani Law (The Theories of Law and Right).
  5. Al Waseet in explaining the Omani Law of Civil and Commercial Proceedings
  6. Explanation of the Procedures of the Omani Civil and Commercial Laws. (Comprehensive work composed of two volumes).
